The seasonally adjusted July value of the Purchasing Manager Index (BMI): 49.2.
Compared to the previous July values, this year’s value is lower than the long-term average for this month (52.5) and also below the average of the values for this month of the previous three years (58.8).
Most of the sub-indices examined in the survey decreased. Five of the sub-indices are in the shrinking and expanding range.
The employment index decreased by 0.5 percentage points this month, and its value again indicates a slight contraction. In the past period, the index hovered around 50.0 points, which decreased this month (48.5).
