The advantage of indoor farms is that more plants can be cultivated in a smaller area, while modern lighting and watering techniques make plants grow faster and consume much less water.

The British company has just announced the creation of a joint venture called Infinite Acres, with the 80 Acres Farms a company specializing in indoor farms and with the Priva Holdings, which sells industrial gardening systems.
In addition, Ocado has acquired a majority stake in Jones Food Company, which is Europe’s largest indoor indoor farm currently. (origo)
