BAT Hungary won the ‘Best Work Environment’ award
CSR Europe’s and Global Footprint Network’s KÖVET Association rewarded British American Tobacco Hungary with ‘Best Work Environment’ special award at Green Office Competition.
Nearly 6,500 employees of 35 companies, municipality and NGOs participated in the competition. The candidates had two months to transform their office to environmentally friendly. British American Tobacco Hungary operated it’s printers and tea kitchens with recycled paper, placed water and energy saving warning stickers into the toilets, and darkened the offices for the night.The recognition was transferred by Szabó Imre Minister for the Environment and Water Management to Tóth Zsuzsanna HR director of BAT Hungary.
