The poultry sector is suffering fom the lack of feed

Recently, more than 70 thousand one day old ducks were strangled, because the fattening did not found feed supplier. Because of the high feed prices a lot of breeders canceled their one day old chicks and turkey installations in the past three weeks.

The Poultry Product Council (BTT), calls the Ministry of Rural Development for immediate market situation revision and for the preparation of the grain portfolio, because the lack of feed may cause irreversible happenings in the cereals sector – reports szabadfold.hu.
