Barion has doubled its number of e-commerce partners this year

In the first ten months of the year, Barion doubled the number of its e-commerce partners compared to 2019, as a result of which the company’s online payment system is already used by more than 9,000 Hungarian and nearly a thousand foreign online stores, the company told MTI.

The announcement noted that the Barion wallet used for online payments is also being used by more and more people, with the number of users reaching the 300,000 at the end of October.

According to the announcement, Kiss Sándor, the CEO of Barion Payment Zrt., the current situation may bring lasting changes in payment habits, and cashless payment methods are expected to become more and more culturally accepted in Hungary as well – he added. (MTI)
