Supermarkets are Very Popular In Baltic region
A new survey by Extended Performance Satisfaction Initiative (EPSI) reveals that supermarket chains in the Baltic countries receive strong approval ratings.
The EPSI
study found that Estonian consumers are slightly more satisfied with
the performance of supermarkets than in 2007. The study found that
the satisfaction of supermarket customers in Estonia increased by 3.4
points from last year to 67.4 points. The survey noted that this is
the first time the level of satisfaction has grown in the last four
years. The study also revealed that customer loyalty in the country
grew, reaching 72.9 points.
Meanwhile, Lithuanian
supermarkets received a customer satisfaction rating of 70.4 points,
and a loyalty index of 75.2 points, both being the highest in the
three Baltic countries. However, the ratings also had the biggest
drop amongst the countries. And for Latvia, both indexes remained
almost flat on the year, at 67.2 and 71.5 points, respectively.
The
EPSI study was based on interviews with 2,900 customers representing
all three Baltic states, and was conducted in late October.
