Discussions on the opening hours near the Lake Balaton
The Lake Balaton Association (BSZ) consits of municipalities near the lake would like to achieve the shops to be open on Sunday for a few occassions during the summer instead of the Advent period – Balassa Balázs, president of the BSZ said in Tihany on Tuesday, at the organization's general meeting.
The association aims to achieve the shops to be open on eight Sundays near the Lake Balaton in the summer instead of the Advent period. Now the law allows instead five Sundays, during Advent. The BSZ would also like to reach that in the stores less than 200 square meters the employees to be involved in work during the weekends, with appropriate overtime wage. Negotiations are under way with the relevant ministry. (MTI)
