Lake Balaton has brought the 2007 results this year

The 20th August date each year closes the season on Lake Balaton. According to the preliminary data the traffic was 8-10 percent smaller than last year’s. However, the results were not worse than in 2007, which is a major achievement.

The restaurant owners reported a 15-20 percent decrease in traffic, and the turnover of clothing shops, and stores selling technical products were even worse. Compared to expectations, canteens, buffets, cheap pubs,and inns closed a good year, and rentals like bicycle repairs and opertators of the wine cellars also do not complain – reports Napi.hu.
