Fekete Tamás, vice-president of the Balaton Tourism Association (BTSZ), which is organizing the competition for the 8th time, a member of the jury, said that the competition has brought significant quality improvements in the life of confectioneries and ice cream parlors around Lake Balaton. Many of them accepted the opinions and instructions of the jury of experts in previous years. He especially praised that there are places where serving has been raised to an artistic level and ice creams are made from local, natural as well as home-made ingredients. (MTI)
