LG’s latest heating and cooling solutions debut at ISH 2025
LG Electronics’ latest smart heating and cooling systems debuted at the ISH trade fair in Frankfurt in March, where the company’s residential and commercial HVAC solutions were in the spotlight. The technology giant’s new products respond to the European market’s electrification and decarbonization efforts, as well as the growing demand for energy efficiency.
Therma V™ R290 Monobloc: Premium Design, Extreme Performance
Visitors to the LG booth were first introduced to the Therma V R290 Monobloc heat pump in the Hero Zone, which, in addition to its premium design, boasts outstanding energy efficiency. The device uses the environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant, which has a global warming potential of only 3 and has already won the 2024 International Design Excellence Award and the German Stiftung Warentest certification.
Thanks to the scroll compressor developed by LG, the Therma V is able to provide 100% heating capacity in extreme cold, even at -15 °C. The device is also extremely quiet: with a noise level of only 50 dB, it is an ideal choice for homes where peace and quiet are of paramount importance.
Smart control for multiple residential units
In the case of multi-family properties, the new cascade control unit available for the system can simultaneously manage up to eight units with different heating requirements. The system is not only energy- and space-saving, but also reliable and can be operated smoothly thanks to its backup system.
