In 2010, exports exceeded imports by 1,517 billion HUF
Last year, Hungary's foreign trade turnover increased significantly. The value of exports was much higher than the value imports. Hungary’s trade balance shows an asset of more than 1500 billion HUF – reports the Central Statistical Office.
In January December 2010, the volume of export increased by 17, while the value of imports increased by 15 percent, compared to the base period. The trade balance surplus was 1,517 billion forints (5,525 million euros), exceeding the same period of 2009 by 461 billion forints (1786 million euros).
