After twenty-three years, László Krisán is stepping down as CEO of KAVOSZ Zrt., having played a decisive role in expanding the financing opportunities for Hungarian small and medium-sized enterprises since the company was founded. The Széchenyi Card Program has now become one of the most successful business development programs in the Hungarian economy, the foundations and operating framework of which were laid under the leadership of László Krisán.

The change in management is due to different future ideas and management models that have emerged among the owners. These differences in approach have made it clear that the next logical step for KAVOSZ is to establish a new, decentralized management structure, on the implementation of which the owners have reached a consensus.

The handover is taking place within the framework of a six-month, structured process, in which the outgoing CEO is involved in ensuring that the management change is smooth and the company’s operations continue uninterrupted.

“KAVOSZ has always been more than a workplace for me: I consider it my own child. I am proud that we have jointly created a successful system that provides assistance to tens of thousands of businesses. However, now the time has come for the organization to be operated in a new form, with a broader management team, after the foundations have been laid. In the future, I would like to apply my professional experience to the areas of business development and SME financing, especially in the programs represented by VOSZ”

– emphasized László Krisán.

The new management of KAVOSZ Zrt. will take office in the coming months, continuing the company’s successful programs and implementing new initiatives tailored to the needs of the domestic SME sector.
