The total media market revenue is over 96 billion HUF in 2015
The printed media still has an enormous impact on consumers, opinion leaders and on the whole society. The press market reached 32.234 billion HUF advertising revenues and 57.952 billion HUF sales revenues in 2015. In addition, the publishing companies realized 6.27 billion HUF online advertising revenues.
The Hungarian Newspaper Publishers' Association (MLE) publishes the estimated results of the advertising spendings since 2012. The aim of MLE’s objective is the assessment of the print media’s advertising revenues, because these datas were only estimated previously. The aggregate revenue of the press, exceeded 96 billion HUF in 2015.
