Cold-storage plant to built in Simontornya

In the new built plant of Hungaro Berry Kft. yearly 3-4,000 tons of sour cherry and elder will be frozen. The company sells to fruits for processors in West-Europe.

 The
first step of the construction happened midle January, the
cold-storage plant will be ready at end of May. More low-temperature
cabinets with high capacity will built there and a modern tube
cooling system, wich could be freeze 150-200 tons of fresh fruit in
every hour.

The
cost of developing is HUF 800 million, the company had last year
almost HUF 500 million total revenue. Hungaro Berry Kft. hopes to
duplicate this income in 2009.
