Nestle Nutrition to Invest USD 75 Mln in US
As part of the investment, the baby food producer will upgrade the facility in Fremont and will add new production lines, the company will create 200 jobs over the next 10 years. Gerber Products employs approximately 1,100 people at its site.

Nestle in 2007 for USD 5.5 billion, Gerber produces nearly 190
different food products that are distributed in 80 countries around
the world. Gerber controls about 83% of the baby food market in the
United States. Having recently obtained approval by Michigan state
authorities and permission for certain tax benefits, Gerber
Products–Nestle Nutrition will invest USD 75 million in expanding
its Fremont campus.
