Nestlé’s Henniez Mineral Water Switches To 75% rPET Bottles
Nestlé Waters’ mineral water brand Henniez has switched to water bottles made of 75% recycled PET plastic across its entire range.
The announcement was made three weeks after Nestlé pledged to invest up to CHF 2 billion in developing sustainable packaging solutions that reduce the use of virgin plastics.
The PRS scheme has a recycling rate of 82% without resorting to a bottle deposit scheme, the report said.
In due course, the Swiss mineral water company aims to introduce 100% locally recycled PET for water bottles.
