7.2-percent increase in retail turnover
In June 2015 retail turnover is estimated to have increased by 7.2 percent (in volume) from the same period of 2014. Adjusted for calendar effects, sales were up 6.2 percent. Food and food-type retail sales improved by 4.5 percent and non-food sales augmented by 8.1 percent; motor fuel volume sales grew by 9 percent. In January-June 2015 the volume of retail sales was 6.1 percent bigger than in the same period of 2014.
