Ceres is 70 years old

Ceres ZRt. is one of Hungary’s leading baking enterprises, whose legal predecessor was founded in 1953, this year celebrates its 70th anniversary. On the occasion of the anniversary, the company together with the Győr Industrial History Foundation unveiled an industrial history commemorative plaque at the headquarters of Ceres ZRt.

The Foundation considers it important to make Győr’s industrial past visible, so in 2017 it developed and launched its “Industrial History Plaque” project. The plaque unveiled at the Ceres site is a tribute to the company’s past and its role in Győr’s food industry.

“This anniversary is of great importance in the life of our company. We work every day to ensure that high-quality baked goods reach our customers’ tables. As our slogan says “We have a bread for everyone”. Change and innovation will always be present in our lives, but the principles and knowledge we have acquired will always remain and form the basis for further construction.”
