Allee’s holiday initiative raised 6.7 million forints, the amount will be used to implement an experience day for children living in orphanages organized by the Kuckó Voluntary Program Foundation. The shopping center also hosted 12 children living in orphanages during the Christmas period.

Allee’s Christmas initiative aimed to make holiday preparations not only about shopping, but also about caring for each other and taking on community responsibility. The Christmas Express running in the atrium transported the youngest children every day, while visitors could have personalized, unique Christmas tree decorations made in the Decoration Workshop. Allee donated the proceeds from the programs entirely to charity: they support the work of the Kuckó Voluntary Program Foundation. The goal of the volunteer-based organization, which has a history of more than a decade and a half, is to improve the lives of children living in orphanages through experiences.

Allee employees have been organizing experience days for children living in orphanages in the shopping center for years, and they hosted 12 children during the holiday season. The program opened with a joint breakfast at Cserpes Tejivó, followed by Christmas photo shoots, a train ride, and a movie night with the redemption of Cinema City gift tickets. The children were treated to lunch at Zing Burger. “It is important for us that the Christmas season is filled with real content. This initiative was not only about the festive atmosphere, but also about creating opportunities for shared experiences for those children who do not have this opportunity in their everyday lives. We hope that we have also managed to draw attention to the fact that even the smallest gesture can often be a huge help.” – emphasized András Juhász, manager of Allee Center.
