660 billion ‘’turnover’’ in the black market of food
If the government would repel the black market to one third, significantly more tax could income than the revenues from the crisis tax – states the National Trade Association (OKSZ).
If the state would cut the current market back to one-third, the crisis tax should not be imposed on the sector. One third of the 660 billion black market is 220 billion HUF, roughly one-fifth of this is VAT, which does not flow into the treasury. This is 44 billion HUF, which is more than the 30 billion HUF that is imposed on the sector.
With the complete termination of the black market at 25 percent VAT, the budget would won 120 billion HUF – pointed out Vámos György, the Secretary-General National Trade Association (OKSZ) – reports szabadfold.hu.
