Wizz Air launches 6 new flights from Budapest
Wizz Air launches direct flights from Budapest to Brasov, Brussels, Bucharest, Yerevan, Stuttgart and Valencia.
On Wednesday, the airline informed MTI that flights to the new destinations will start in June, and there will be more frequent flights to Alicante, Athens, Basel, Glasgow, Madrid, Malta, Milan, Naples, flights to Nice, Rome, Thessaloniki, Tirana and Paris. Wizz Air also sends special planes to matches of the European Football Championship in Germany from Budapest and Debrecen, they wrote.
According to the announcement, the airline’s passenger capacity in Hungary will increase to 6.67 million with the new flights, 15 percent more than last year. The Budapest base will be supplemented with 2 new planes, thus increasing the fleet in the capital to 16 members. In addition, they also operate a machine in Debrecen.
