Inflation is 5.5 percent, food prices increased below the average
This year's average inflation may be around 5.3 to 5.6 percent – told the analysts of Takarékbank and ING on the basis of the datas of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Wednesday. Both of them think that the 3 percent inflation target can be achived in 2013.
According to the datas of KSH, consumer prices in March were 5.5 percent higher than a year earlier, and increased by 0.8 percent in one month. The price of alcoholic beverages, tobacco and fuel increased significantly, while food prices and the price of services increased with a less extent. (MTI)
