Aldi opened 51 stores in its first year in Italy
Aldi opened 51 stores in six different regions in northern Italy during its first 12 months in the country. The German discount supermarket chain hired more than 750 workers for its 51 stores, as well as 530 in the operational headquarters and across its logistics operations.
