dm supports needy families with a donation of 50 million
In line with its social responsibility strategy, dm has been supporting needy social groups, families and children in Hungary for years.
Responding to the current social challenges, they have been helping to provide for Ukrainian refugee families arriving in our country from the very beginning, and in the period from summer to autumn, the drug store supports the integration projects of national aid organizations. From the HUF 50 million support frame, the company finances the summer recreation and health care of refugee and domestic needy families, as well as the renovation of a refugee accommodation.
Supporting families and children is a priority area of dm’s social responsibility programs, and dm cooperates with national aid organizations in the implementation of initiatives. Every year, the company helps 260 families with enough diapers for a year, and by handing out hygiene products, they try to ease the burdens of people in need during the year by working together with several NGOs. The company also responds flexibly to current social challenges. In the spring, refugee families were mainly helped with hygiene, cleaning, and baby care products, and in the summer, in cooperation with aid organizations, they support initiatives focusing on the integration of families staying in our country for a longer period of time.
