50 m2 és kisebb
Stores with a floor space of 50m² and below held on to their 9-percent market share from grocery value sales in the December 2011-November 2012 period – reported the Nielsen Retail Index.
Altogether 11,111 stores belong to this retail channel (57 percent of the total number of food stores). Consumers like these units because they are close to where they live and they try to sell those products that people who live nearby really need. From the 30 highest-turnover food categories audited by Nielsen the market share of 12 reached or surpassed the store type’s 9-percent average: beer, carbonated soft drink, coffee, fruit juice, sour cream, wafer, candy, chocolate bar, vodka, energy and sport drink, ice tea and bitter.
