Lidl Hungary donated 5 million HUF to the Child Nutrition Foundation
Lidl Hungary, in the spirit of social responsibility, organized a fundraising campaign: between March 29 and April 7 the costumers of Lidl collected 2.5 million HUF, which was doubled by Lidl from its own resources, so the Child Nutrition Foundation received a 5 million HUF donation.
“Children are particularly in a vulnerable situation. We, the adults determine among what circumstances they are growing up. In the Lidl we recognized that together with our customers we can give something to these children to live a little bit better. We realized that we feel much better now”- said Grósz Jenő, Chairman of the Board at Lidl Hungary.
Lidl also made a campaign film to demonstrate the problem of child hunger.
