Things we didn’t know about aluminum cans
Blinds, wires, dishes, foil… well, drink boxes. It can all be made of aluminum. From a raw material that we take in our hands almost every day, and yet we know so little about it. We have even more reasons to love summer!
Best friend in the heat
In the heat of the day, we crave nothing more than an ice-cold soft drink, beer, or tea. However, we often search the store shelves in vain, the chilled drinks run out in the blink of an eye. In such cases, it is best to choose a soft drink in an aluminum can, because it conducts heat very well, so it cools down very quickly. The fastest way is to throw it in the freezer, but if you only have a cooler bag at your disposal, try this trick: wrap the box in a wet paper towel and put it between the ice packs.
That wonderful opening ear!
If there were only one specific sound of summer, it would surely be the hissing of the aluminum can, as we pop the lid and our favorite drink bubbles out of it. Although this little accessory has only been part of the box since 1975, it is even more important today! In addition to the fact that it can be opened with the help of this, it helps to preserve the freshness and carbonation of the drink, in fact! If we turn the ear towards the already open mouth, we can put a straw through it, which will definitely stay in place.
