45 thousand packs of smuggled cigarettes were seized in Beregsurány
The finance officers seized thirty-six million HUF worth smuggled cigarettes in Beregsurány, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county – the Press Secretary of the Northern Plains Regional Directorate of the National Tax and Customs Authority told MTI on Thursday.
Jánvári-Stefán Regina told that the finance guards caught the smugglers, when they were packing 45 thousand packs of smuggled cigarettes.
The cigarettes were seized, while the three Hungarian and three Ukrainian men are suspected for committing reset on significant value. The Kisvárda-based District Court ordered their pre-trial detention – the press officer told. (MTI)
