41. Lidl Balaton swim – pre-registration will close soon

In 10 days, the country’s most popular open water leisure sports event, the 41st Lidl Balaton swim, will be held. The organizers, seeing the soaring interest in entries, are expecting more than 12,000 participants to the Balaton shore this year, who can “get away” with the classic 5.2 km distance, the 2.6 km half distance, or complete it with a SUP the Lidl Balaton crossing.

10 days before the unique open water swimming event, the number of pre-registrations has never been so high, which has already exceeded 9,800! Based on the experience of previous years, it is expected that the limit of 12,000 personnel will be reached.

The domestic participants come from 1,000 settlements, 30% of them are from Budapest, the most active counties are Pest, Győr-Moson-Sopron, Veszprém and Csongrád. 10% of the participants come from the three Balaton counties.
