Four thousand tonnes less waste at SPAR
SPAR Magyarország has generated almost 4,000 tonnes less waste in three years. In 2023 alone the company cut its waste production by 1,600 tonnes, and the introduction of digital solutions minimised paper-based administration.

SPAR is also helping customers to collect waste selectively, with return vending machines available in 339 stores. SPAR offers empty bottle bags made from recycled materials, making it easier for customers to collect waste at home. //
