There are 35 items that are cheaper than at this time last year: the Tunisian vacation is among them
There are only 35 items, out of the 927 items collected from the KSH sample, that were cheaper this August than a year earlier. Among the foodstuffs, parsley root costs 7.4 percent less, and the price of a vacation in Tunisia decreased by two percent. On the other hand, the price of 670 items increased: the majority of the most expensive products are food. Among the consumer durables, the Opel Zafira stands out, the price of which has risen by forty percent – 24.hu collected data.

Holidays in Tunisia are 2 percent cheaper now than this time last year
We have already written numerous articles about inflation due to runaway prices, now we were wondering which products and services became cheaper in August 2022 compared to the previous month and the previous August. Although the Central Statistical Office reports the changes in the average consumer price of certain items on a monthly basis, the office warns against comparing them to each other – the prices of season tickets, for example, show a decrease, although – due to a change in methodology – only the BKK season ticket in the capital moved from one row to another . Moreover, the list is not complete: the CSO examines the rate of inflation through a representative collection of a thousand items. We contacted the office with a request for data: we were interested in how the price indices of each representative changed in the last month of the summer compared to one month or one year earlier.
