41 applications from 34 applicants earned the use of the Value and Quality Grand Prize Certification Trademark
The awards of the Value and Quality Grand Prize Contest were presented at the Economy Festival, in the Főrendiház meeting room of the Parliament on September 8. This year, 41 applications from 34 applicants earned the use of the trademark and the award in a high-level competition announced in more than 100 topics of 45 main groups covering almost the entire range of the economy.
7 of the most outstanding tenders also received valuable special awards as a special recognition of their work. At the ceremony, János Latorcai, the Vice-President of the Parliament, and Sándor Farkas, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, gave a speech and presented the awards. In this epidemiological and economic crisis situation, in the middle of an energy crisis, the Tender Announcement Council considered it particularly important to use its own means and to provide assistance to the actors of economic and cultural life with the possibility of winning honorary titles. According to tradition, the largest group of applicants can be linked to agriculture this year as well; the past period has pointed out the unquestionable importance of agriculture and the food industry, which has proven even during the crisis that it is capable of supplying the entire country.
