3,300 billion HUF worth food products on the Hungarian market
Annually, about 3,300 billion HUF worth food and food related products are distributed on the Hungarian market – said Feldman Zsolt, Deputy Secretary of State at the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) responsible for agri-management on Thursday at a professional conference in Budapest.
At the forum, over the situation of the Hungarian food economy – organized by Heti Válasz and Figyelő weeklies – Feldman Zsolt added that last year in this market segment Hungary’s export amounted to 6.9 billion euros, while import was a total 4.3 billion euros. (MTI)
