3.3 million forints were raised in the 2024 campaign of OMV and the Maltese Charity Service
OMV Hungária and the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service closed 2024 with another successful charity campaign, raising nearly 3.3 million forints to support the organization’s initiatives. The campaign asked customers to buy a Maltese donation card at gas stations, and OMV doubled the amount raised at the end of the campaign.

“Sharing the joy of giving with our customers is always a special experience for us,”
said Ján Hrivnák, Managing Director of OMV Hungária.
“This campaign not only allowed us to support the invaluable work of the Maltese Charity Service, but also demonstrated the power of collective goodwill. Every forint donated directly supports the selfless work of volunteers in social and civil rescue activities.”
By doubling the amount collected from the approximately 4,600 donation cards purchased, this donation will also significantly contribute to the Maltese Charity Service organizing the Youth Camp for the Disabled, which provides a lifelong experience for young people with disabilities. The camp offers participants the opportunity to relax in an inclusive and supportive environment and to develop new relationships with their peers and members of the able-bodied society. The campers are assisted by specially trained volunteers during the programs, ensuring that everyone can fully participate in all common events.
“This camp is much more than just a week of spending time,”
– said Lajos Győri-Dani, Executive Vice President of the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service.
