Pensioners will receive a 30,000-forint food voucher – announced the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation in a video shared on his social media page on Monday.
Róbert Zsigó said: the government will take action against unjustified price increases with all means, and in addition to reducing margins, pensioners will receive special assistance.
“We listened to the feedback and advice of the elderly, and we decided to provide this support in the form of a voucher “we will give it in the form of”
– the Secretary of State said.
According to his statement, pensioners will receive a paper-based voucher consisting of several denominations, which will be delivered by autumn.
The voucher will be redeemable in rural small shops, larger chain stores, markets and primary producers – he explained. He also announced that the necessary legislation is already being prepared, the bill will soon be submitted to parliament, after which the production of vouchers can begin.
