Domestic horseradish production has been growing for 3 years
Hungary is the largest horseradish producer in the European Union. A significant part of Hungarian horseradish is exported, where – due to its unique flavor – it is typically used by processing plants as a taste and texture improver in their own horseradish preparations. However, the size of the horseradish area in Hungary allows it to be available fresh and processed at home all year round. We also choose our homeland from the high-quality horseradish for the Easter festive table – the National Chamber of Agriculture draws attention.
