283 tons of durable food will help the needy as part of the Food Bank Christmas Fundraising Campaign
During the weekend action in more than 200 locations across 120 municipalities around the country, the Hungarian Food Bank Association collected about 283 tons of durable food with the help of nearly 5,400 volunteers. Almost 57,000 thousand food packages are being made. The volunteers involved in the collection will take these packages to the needy.
The 15th Christmas Fundraising of the Hungarian Food Bank Association takes place between 22 and 24 November this year. In 207 stores in Budapest and in the country they collected a total of 283 tons of durable food products, thanks to generous donations of customers.
