The separate collection of beverage cartons created 2.7 billion HUF in value

In ten years, the Beverage Carton Environment Protection Association (IKSZ) has contributed in the creation of more 2.7 billion HUF economic value by the separate recollection of beverage cartons.

The ten-year-old organization was created to assist the increase the rate of separate collection of beverage cartons. Today, thanks to the work of the Association 22 percent of the milk and fruit soup boxes are collected selectively. This is 11-fold of the 2 percent rate of 2004. The Beverage Carton Environment Protection Association (IKSZ) is trying to achieve 50 percent selective recollection rates by 2020, which would result in 1.2 billion HUF savings for the country per year at current prices.
