Cadbury to Plan 250 Million euro Investments in Poland
Poland has been in competition with other Eastern and Central European countries for the Cadbury business, which could create 1,000 jobs.
Cadbury is
already present on the Polish confectionery market thanks to its
acquisition of Wedel, the leading chocolate brand in Poland, for
£76.5 million in 1999. Cadbury also boasts an operational base
in Poland and in 2005 invested £70 million in a new chewing gum
factory in the country.
