Medicinal alcohol can be made from 250 thousand hectoliters of wine
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, most of the stocks of domestic and EU winemakers are still resting in the cellars, although the harvest period is slowly beginning. Distillation plants can free producers from the surplus. About 2.5 billion HUF is available for crisis management measures in Hungary – penzcentrum.hu wrote.
Most of the restrictive measures aimed at preventing the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and the disease were serious cuts for the Hungarian and EU wine sectors – Magyar Nemzet wrote.
