Conad gets EUR 25m sustainability loan from UniCredit
Supermarket chain Conad has secured a EUR 25m loan from Italian banking group UniCredit to support its sustainability initiatives, which will be used to purchase goods and stock. Conad has committed to increase the proportion of its private label products offered in packaging made from sustainable materials, and to introduce consistent and rigorous quality control and monitoring of Conad Percorso Qualità products throughout its supply chain.
