24 tonnes of food donations have been raised in Tesco’s record-breaking campaign
From June to the end of August, shoppers were able to donate durable food to those in need at Tesco stores.
Speaking of the longest fundraising campaign in the history of the store chain, the coronavirus pandemic put many people in a difficult position. In the 10-week nationwide action, shoppers collected a total of more than 24 tons of food. The donations are distributed by the strategic partner of the store chain, the Hungarian Food Bank Association, to those who need it most.
