Gross average wage was 230,700 forints
Compared with the same period a year earlier, gross wages were up 3.4 percent at enterprises employing at least 5 people, budgetary institutions and observed non-profit organisations in January-December 2013. Net average wages rose by 4.9 percent from the base period of 12 months earlier. In January-December 2013 people working full time earned a gross average of HUF 230,700: HUF 242,200 at enterprises and HUF 227,800 at budgetary institutions. Gross average wages augmented by 3.6 percent in the competitive sector. At national economy level the average net wage – calculated without family benefits – was HUF 151,100 (HUF 104,400 for blue collar workers and HUF 201,300 for white collar workers) – exceeding the level of the same period in 2012 by 4.9 percent.
