Polish VAT will be 23 percent
The Polish government plans to raise VAT by 1 percentage point to 23 percent from 2011 for three years. Prime Minister Donald Tusk, expects an annual 1.8 billion euros additional revenues from the measure.
The VAT increase is part of the four-year government program, that’s final version originally had to be approved by the government on Friday, but postponed the decision to Tuesday. However, the VAT rate increase has already been voted by the government on Friday – reports MTI.
