23 Hungarian food industry companies will present themselves in Dubai
23 Hungarian companies will present themselves at one of the world’s largest trade fairs for the food industry, Gulfood in Dubai, the Agricultural Marketing Center (AMC) told MTI on Monday.
According to the press release, the Hungarian participants of the event have put together a range of products with which they have a good chance of attracting the interest of buyers. Honey, foie gras, medicinal tea, oil seeds, energy drinks, dairy products, frozen vegetables and fruits were displayed at the AMC stand, and several products were also entered in the competition for the best innovative products.
Gulfood is an important meeting place for businesses targeting Middle Eastern markets, covering the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region from Africa to India. Last year, more than 5,000 exhibitors from 125 countries presented themselves to almost 140,000 professional visitors, and the organizers hope to organize the world’s largest food industry exhibition this year as well. The development direction of the market is shown by the fact that the sector of healthy, wellness and free products was recently created, and the confectionery product category was removed from the exhibition’s product list.
