By 2050, food should be ensured to nine billion people
Immediate action is needed to ensure in order to ensure world food supply in 2050 – states French researchers. In the meantime, the price of cereal increased to record heights at the stock exchanges.
The authors of Agrimonde (Agri-world) ask almost impossible from the world – reports MTI. The French researchers say, that in next forty years the world’s population will have to do a lot in order to increase agricultural productivity, to reduce dependence on chemical and fossil energy, to dampen the wasting of food, to enhance environmental protection efforts and to reduce the extreme price fluctuations in agriculture – reports szabadfold.hu.
