The number of foreign tourists could increase by more than half in the Netherlands by 2030
By the end of the next decade, the number of foreign tourists in the Netherlands can grow by more than one and half times to about 29 million per year –according to an expert report published on Thursday.
According to the recent forecasts by the Dutch Tourism Agency (NBTC), the number of visitors to the Netherlands could increase to 29 million per year by 2030, from the 18 million of last year. The number of locals traveling within the country will rise to 31 million from the current 24 million at the same time. (MTI)
