Cora to close all Belgian stores by 2026
Hypermarket chain Cora is going to close all seven of its stores in Belgium by the beginning of 2026, putting nearly 1,800 jobs at risk.

According to the owner the Louis Delhaize Group, the decision is motivated by falling purchasing power, the rise of online retail, the outdated hypermarket model and Belgian labour regulations.
