Will 2025 be the year of Hungarian beer tourism?
Bakancslista 2025 – National Brewery Tour Map will guide you to 18 Hungarian small breweries, with which you can visit the breweries included in it for free next year. In addition to the brewery visits, guests will also receive a beer tasting.
A striking publication, which is certainly extremely popular among beer lovers, has been published, which not only guides its owners to the most beautiful landscapes of the country, but also to the breweries located there. With the “beer tour card”, visitors can get to know not only the operation of the breweries, but also their beers.
According to forecasts, the growth of European beer tourism between 2024 and 2030 will exceed 10 percent, which is primarily driven by interest in small breweries – said Gábor Knap, editor-in-chief of the beer magazine Beerporn.hu. According to Grand View Research, the opportunity to get to know different types of beer first-hand and taste the products of a brewery with the guidance of brewers is increasingly attractive among beer lovers. Bakancslista 2025 – National Brewery Tour offers this opportunity, he added.
The National Brewery Tour works similarly to our previous Bakancslista publications, said the editor-in-chief. “These beer passports are similar to scratch-off lottery tickets, with the difference that after scratching the appropriate surface, everyone wins every time, as the scratch-off sections represent 1 glass of small-scale beer. The previous Bakancslistas could be redeemed in restaurants serving small-scale beers, but at Beerporn.hu we have been working for a long time to stimulate Hungarian beer tourism, so the idea came to try out the already proven model by developing it into a national brewery tour,” he presented the operation of the publication.
