In 2025, futuristic ultra-luxury ships will be able to travel on the Danube
Next year, APT may launch two new ultra-luxury river ships, which will also ply on the Danube.
APT Solara and APT Ostara will operate on Europe’s most popular river routes, the Rhine, Main and Danube, from March 2025.
Designed by architecture firm Hecker Guthrie, the sister ships were built to set new sustainability standards, reducing fuel consumption and waste generated while optimizing energy use, according to APT.
The design of the ships, which can accommodate 154 guests, focused on the maximum utilization of the spacious spaces and the incoming light.
Both Solara and Ostara will offer a number of all-inclusive options, from the exclusive restaurant to the intimate wine cellar to the conservatory, TTG wrote.
